Céu e Terra
VIENNA ART WEEK, 2022
Céu e Terra is a mixed media installation that challenges the idea of space and the physical body. Data center cables and elements of nature are intertwined, representing different ways of communication.
The color black represents "céu" (sky) and red stands for "terra" (earth) and symbolizes life and mother nature. The collaboration with mirabella paidamwoyo* dziruni is crucial for understanding the fundamental value of Lima's practice, which is based on interaction and reciprocity. With the performance "Aprendiz de cabeça pra baixo", mirabella paidamwoyo* dziruni inserts their non-binary body in the space and brings their own interpretation to the colors and sounds of the indigenous and Afro-Brazilian cross-culture references used in the installation.
